PepQuest is a fitness pet game published by Pixel Stride Games. This policy explains what data the app touches and where it goes.
PepQuest reads your device's step counter to award in-game Pep. Step counts are processed and stored only on your device. We do not upload, collect, or share your step, motion, health, or fitness data. Step counting reads the motion sensor directly and does not go through Apple Health or Google Fit.
On iOS, PepQuest can read your mindful minutes from Apple Health so that mindfulness sessions you have already logged fill your pet's Mana, which pays for magic attacks. This access is read-only: the app never writes anything to Health, and mindful minutes are the only category it reads. Those minutes are used on your device to work out how much Mana to award. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and they are never used for advertising or shared with any advertising SDK.
iOS asks your permission before any of this happens, and you can decline or revoke it at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Health. The game plays normally without it; only magic attacks depend on Mana.
Your pet's level, abilities, and battle progress are saved locally on your device. There are no accounts and no server-side storage. Deleting the app deletes this data.
PepQuest is free and supported by ads served through third-party advertising SDKs (Unity LevelPlay / ironSource Ads, and AppLovin MAX where enabled). These SDKs may collect device information such as advertising identifiers (IDFA / Google Advertising ID), IP address, device model, and ad interaction data, to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud. Their handling of this data is governed by their own privacy policies:
On iOS, the app asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any advertising identifier is accessed. You can decline and still play the full game; ads will simply be less personalized. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in system settings.
PepQuest is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
